WELCOME TO THE CAPO DI STELLA HOTEL

3- Star Hotel on the Island of Elba

…a delight for the eye to behold and a joy for the heart…

This is how you feel when you admire the natural panorama that opens out before you from the Capo di Stella promontory, a scented, green stretch of land that lies between two of the most beautiful beaches on the Island of Elba.

The Capo di Stella Hotel is in Lacona, in the southern part of the Island , and is easy to get to by following the first part of the white road that has eucalyptus and pine trees on both sides; it is in complete harmony with this part of the island because the entire area is part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park.

There are several paths that start off directly from the hotel and lead to the promontory of Capo di Stella, and they are very popular among those who love trekking and going out on their mountan bike; the whole route is surrounded by lush, Mediterranean bush, and, depending on the time of year, the air all around you is rich in the perfumes of the many colourful flowers in bloom.

We are certain your stay will be even more unforgettable, not only due to the fact that Mother Nature certainly did her best when she created the beauty of the area, but also thanks to the warm welcome, kindness and hospitality you will be given on behalf of all the staff.

THE BEACHES

Two very beautiful beaches frame the hotel: Lacona and Margidore

Lacona beach

Lacona is the longest beach on the Island; it is made up of sand, and offers the majority of facilities from bars, restaurants, bazars, rotisseries, bakers, pizzerias and ice-cream parlours.

Margidore beach

Margidore on the other hand is a small, very quiet gulf made up of small, dark coloured pebbles and with a fantastic seabed; not only are there several bathing establishments on the beach but there are also many parts that are free.

THE ROOMS

All are spacious, each has a large, private bathroom as well as a terrace overlooking the sea

All our rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and they all have a spacious bathroom plus a balcony overlooking the sea and the Stella gulf. They also have a television, wifi and hot and cold air conditioning.

The two–family rooms consist of several, individual rooms and are the size of an apartment; each has its own small, external area complete with sun umbrella, table and chairs, and they all look onto the gulf.

From October until the hotel closes, the Capo di Stella restaurant will remain closed.
